In the summer of 2017 I was given the opportunity to participate in an artist and writer residency program through my local Audubon Society. The Trail Wood site in Connecticut was once home to Edwin Way Teale, a Pulitzer-prize winning naturalist writer and photographer, and is currently home to miles of beautiful trails to explore.
Each summer the Audubon selects a variety of artists and writers to stay at Trail Wood and create artwork inspired by their experiences.
